Videos of Luc...some recent...some kind of old

When he feeds himself with a fork, he immediately turns to Brian and starts clapping.

Open, shut....open, shut....he will do this for 30 mintues until he actually gets the door shut then he pitches a fit

He figured out how to actually bounce the four wheeler at the park

This is a family inside joke...too long to explain now...even if you don't get it, it's still pretty funny to watch...even Luc thought so.

I think I've mentioned this before but Luc calls me "dada" and Brian "Daddy". He will say "mama" when Brian asks him to. He runs up to me and points to touch me and says "dada"...almost like he is trying to aggrivate me. It's pretty funny.

Lately he has been running to the door when he hears Brian walk in saying "hey daddy...hey daddy". It is the sweetest thing ever. He runs to the door when I get home too but he just says "dada dada dada dada...".

Laugh it up Brian

Brian has been laughing at me because I am SO excited about our new pool. Most of you know that if I had my way, I would be living at the beach. Well since I can't, an awesome pool is the next best thing. There are shallow, 1 foot deep, areas for kids to play or where you can sit your chair in the water. They have little palm trees and play fun music like Jimmy Buffet by the pool. If they had Cabana boys, it would be so perfect.

Luc and I go to the pool quiet frequently now. When we move, we are never going to be in our apartment. Since we will be saving money living at our new apartments, I might just quite work until cold weather. Just kidding...I'll just cut my afternoon hours.

There is another pool and a nice playground in the back. I have only seen this pool...

The first time Brian and I came to Austin we played shuffleboard. We had so much fun. Well guess what...they have shuffleboard too. We're pretty excited. I'm sure we'll play every day for about 2 days then never play again. It's still cool though.

I guess I'll add a picture of the apartment itself...although we are really moving there for there amenities. Actually, the apartment is really nice. We decided to go with the 2 bedroom which is bigger and cheaper than the one we are in now. It has a nice roomy kitchen and huge closets. I wish it came furnished with nice things like the model apartment was. I really don't remember the living room being THIS big. I think the angle of the camera helps this picture.

So behind on Luc updates

I have been so busy with work lately that I have really slacked on the blogging. I think I could use a little help with blogging duties...hint hint.

Luc turned 15 months on Monday. He is always on the run...he's definitely a little busy-body. He is a great little communicator. I am very proud. He communicates most everything he wants with words or gestures. He does have quite a temper when he doesn't get his way though.

We go back to the doctor after our trip to Alabama. I weighed him today and he weighs 25 lbs...which is actually less than he weighed at 12 months. He is cutting 2 teeth right now which will make a total of 8 teeth. I have felt really bad for him this time. I think it has really been hurting him. He is not wanting to eat. I am praying that it is the teeth bothering him this time and not a third ear infection.

Here's the good part.

He LOVES the pool. He is not afraid at all. I have actually let him fall under a couple of times hoping it would frighten him but it didn't. I cannot take my eye off of him for 2 seconds out there.

We have not been seeing much of this in the past few days.

Beth/Brian, this picture is for y'all. This outfit was Will and Sam's. Kid number 3 in the Land's End clothes...not to mention, 3 very active little boys.

We gave him Cool Whip the other night. Do you think he liked it?

New kicks...A size 5 is too small but a size 6 is too big. Babies need half sizes too. At the rate his feet are growing, these will be too small in no time too I guess.

Happy Anniversary to us!

3 years ago, Brian and I got married. I will have to say, this past year has been the best for us. I love spending my life with Brian. He is so much fun to spend my life with. I can't imagine spending it with anyone else.

For those of you who were there, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the wedding. For those of you who weren't, here are some pictures of our wedding.

This picture is for everyone who wasn't there. There is some connection with hail and me. It hailed on our wedding day. In fact, we had to change the location a few hours before the wedding because we had planned outdoors.

Oh yeah...there's more

Today we met some friends downtown at "the fountains". I found out that it is actually a park that has a name, Butler Park. Caren, Tanya, Kim, Jenn, and April were there. Kim's parents also came. We had quite a crowd of kids. Here are some pictures.
Poor baby Anderson's parents starve him...see how hungry he is

Kim looks like she was explaining to Ryan that he has to share his mommy

I have never seen a cuter bugger picking picture EVER!

This weeks outings

Monday, Brian brought Luc to see me since I had to work all day. I am usually very sad on days that I have to be away ALL DAY. We met at the auboretum since it's about 2 miles from work. Luc was wearing the cutest outfit that was a hand-me-down. I love the little crab on his butt.

Tuesday, Kim and I met at Bull Creek. The boys had so much fun splashing and playing in the water. After we worked up an appetite, we went to Waterloo for lunch. I still think having a playground at a resturant is the best thing ever.
I found this rock, which I thought would be a great place to take a few good pictures of Luc. Obviously, we weren't on the same page with the picture taking.

Water play can make you very hungry. Ask these boys...

Notice Ryan's mouth stuffed very full also

Ryan debating on stepping in by himself

Luc wanting Ryan to get in with him

Does Luc look like he wants to beat up Ryan? Whatever he's thinking, it looks a bit devilish.

Family Fun Day

This weekend we went to a family fun day downtown. We ran into our friends, Caren and Jason and their kids there. There was a petting zoo, inflatables, clowns, a kid concert, and lot more. Luc was knocked out when we first got there. Once he woke up, he had a blast.

I was talking to Caren and looked down to see Anderson giving me huge smiles.

Luc was so cute chasing the animals around, smiling, and pointing. He loved it.

I did wash his hands but not before he put them in his mouth. Luckily, there were no pigs around.

Maizie was hugging this lamb saying "I love lamb...I love lamb". It was so cute.

Luc was scared of the box maze but Maizie made it through in seconds.

Maizie and Luc's first concert...The Biscuit Brothers

The Daddies

After the family thing, Caren and I took the kids to play in the fountains while Brian and Jason grabbed us some lunch. They had so much fun running around in the water.
