If you don't know what an Orgasmatron is, you should fine out. It is this thing you massage your head with. It is awesome. It is suppose to relax you. We brought Mama and Daddy one back from Buenos Aries last year. Mama hates it. She thinks it feels like spiders crawling on her head. Daddy loves it though. Well here was Luc's reaction to it.

Fort D
We stopped by Grandpa's on the way to Fort Deposit. Then we stopped by Grany's house. Then to my parent's. Luc got lots of attention from everyone.

This is my pet cow, Pookey. We raised her by bottle after she was born. She lived in our yard just like the dogs. She was not your typical cow. We played with her as much as any of our other pets. We let her come in the house one time but Mama flipped out. When she was still bottle fed, she nursed off our dog, who had puppies at the time. She even chased cars down the driveway with our dogs. Once she got big enough, we would ride her. She is now about 11 years old and although she lives in the pasture with the other cows, she is still a pet. Luc got to sit on her. Don't worry...I wouldn't put my baby on just any cow.

Luc's first beach trip
WE'RE HOME!!!
We got to Orange Beach Friday afternoon. My parents, sister, aunt and little cousins were there. Here are a few pictures of Luc meeting his cousins. There are no pictures with Logan because he wouldn't hold Luc.

We made it!!!
Well we finally made it to Alabama. We had to postpone our start a couple of hours because Luc had blood in his poop again. Long story but he is okay now. I had to stop soy products and now he is fine. So we were making great time Thursday UNTIL... we ran over a peice of metal on the interstate in Louisiana and it sliced our tire in half. Brian had to change the tire on the side of the road (which made me SO nervous with cars and 18 wheelers flying by). We made it to his aunt's house (near New Orleans) around 1:00 am. He got a new tire Friday morning and we hit the road again. We made it to Orange Beach Friday afternoon. He was very good on the road trip. I'll update again later.

I am just trying to see if photobucket videos will work on here too. Photobucket uploads faster than you tube by the way.

Pictures from the weekend
This is a onsie that our friend Caren made for Luc. Of course, Brian really liked it. As you can see though, it is now too little. He is getting so big.

Luc loves to watch TV. It doesn't matter what is on, he wants to watch it. I have to turn the TV off or position him where he can;t watch it if I put him on the floor to play. If I don't, then I go back in the living room to find him watching whatever is on. Today he was watching Brian play video games.

It looks like I have a backdrop but it is actually a sofa cover that doesn't fit the sofa. Isn't he so cute? He was laughing when I talked to him but he was looking at Brian.

Here are Luc's first tennis shoes. A friend of ours gave these to him. He has never worn them out but I put them on him today just for fun. They are actually size 6-9 mos but he has big feet like his Daddy.

One week before we're home!
Luc is 11 weeks old this week. He is so big. Here re some pictures from this week. We have had a very laid back week. We have just been relaxing at home, going for walks, and hanging out at the pool this week. Today was the first time that I tried to put Luc in the pool. It was pretty cold and he didn't like that too much. He was fine once his feet got used to it. We didn't get past the steps. I am really looking forward to spending the summer at the beach and Bug's pool. I can't wait!

This past weekend
We had a really busy weekend this weekend. I'll start by explaining Luc's typical day. I don't have him on a strict schedule but he kind of has his own routine. We get up between 8:30 and 10. He has a huge poop, he eats, we talk and play on the floor then he takes about a two hour nap around 11:00 or 11:30. He wakes up and eats and we play or go for a walk. Then he takes a short nap (about 30 min to an hour) around 1 or 1:30. He gets up again and eats. He plays on the floor again and we talk or read a book and usually go for a walk again. (We've started going to the pool but it's too cold to get in) He takes another nap around 3 or 4. He wakes up around 4:30 or 5 and he's up until bedtime. He gets super fussy around 6:30 everyday. He takes a bath and baby massage around 7 or 7:30 which calms him down then eats and he's asleep between 8 and 8:30.
Well this weekend was quite different. Friday night we attended a dinner party at Brian's professor's house. I can't say it was much fun for me since I wasn't interested in the conversations. I pretty much just talked to Luc. The food was good though. We didn't get home until after 10:00 and Luc didn't go to sleep until around 11. Saturday, he wanted to sleep until noon. After he got up, we went downtown to the Old Pecan Street Festival. It is an arts and crafts festival. I wasn't too impressed. It was dirty and stinky down there. I felt like Luc was breathing in garbage smell and cigarettes the whole time. We got a lemonade, kettle corn, and a turkey leg then left. We left the festival and headed to Uncle Bret's. I fed Luc then we went out to Bret's pool for a little bit. Luc slept in my arms while we were there. Sunday's are always a challenge because I have to get Luc up and ready before he's ready to get up. I figured he would sleep during church then we would come home and he would nap again. WRONG! He slept on the way to church and talked and laughed during church. I took him to the nursery to feed him but he still wanted to talk. We came home and he did not take a nap at all. He was so exhausted by the late evening.
I told Brian that this may be a little taste of what our next month is going to be like. When we go home, poor Luc is not going ot have much normalcy. I'm going to try to keep his regular bedtime routine but he is going to be in a different bed every other day. We'll see what happend.

Here you go Mama
I told Mama that I would update the blog. Here are a few pictures I've taken this week. We haven't really done much this week. I did have an interview with Lake Travis school district. I think it went really well. After the interview the Lead Speech Pathologist took me to visit 2 schools and the daycare. They have a day care at one of the schools for the teachers in the district. The schools I visited we really nice. The people I met were nice. I was pleased with the daycare but I think I am going to try to just work part-time. If I do that, Brian will keep Luc on the days that I work and we won't have to put him in daycare. Okay enough of that...here are the pictures.
