Helping Mama in my cool hat

Luc's already helping put things away. Okay so not really but it would be nice. He did take off with his pack of diapers today though. He was using it as a push toy so he could walk...or more like walk on his hands and feet without having to move his hands. It was pretty cute.

I LOVE this hat! Beth passed down some of the boys things...which we very much appreciated. Among them was this hat of Sam's. It is the cutest. I am going to try to find a picture of Sam wearing it to post. It's still a little big for Luc but it's still super cute on him. Da, I think of you when Luc wears it. It looks like your fishing hat. Well, Luc's got his hat and he is ready for some fishing.

New things Luc has and does

Luc's new teether. It looks like a binky but it's a chewy thing. Luc loves it.


This is Luc's new silly face. He scruntches his nose and blows. It's really cute now...when he had his cold, it wasn't so cute. He would do it to clean out his nose...or as we say "blow snot rockets". I guess it's a game now. He will copy you if you do it first.


I just think this picture is cute.

This is Luc's new table toy. Kim and I got awesome deals on these activity tables for our boys. Luc loves it. He tries to crawl on top of it though which often leads to him falling. He has gotten too brave while he's standing.


When I went to get Luc up today, he was holding his horse in his mouth so that he could pull up. I thought it was funny. He kept it in his mouth even after I got him out of bed. Then he got mad when I took it away.

More playing with Ryan

Joe, Kim, and Ryan came over the other night. The boys played together so well. I love these pictures. They are making the same expressions in both pictures. I think Luc learned some things from Ryan that night. Ryan was getting up on his hands and feet (with his bottom up in the air). The next morning Luc started doing it. Also, Luc was only pulling up on the swing and glider. After Ryan pulled up on the coffee table, Luc started doing it too. I really think he saw Ryan doing it. Thanks Ryan...now Luc is pulling everything off the table all the time. ;-)

At the beginning of February, Lana was out here visiting and she took pictures of my huge belly and Jennifer's little flat tummy. Well the tables are turned now...not that your belly is huge Jennifer. ;-)

Rewind

I have not been posting these posts in order at all lately. Here are some pictures from last weeks lunch date. We went to Caren's. Luc and I were fashionably late...thanks to the cable guy. We still made it and had tons of fun. Thanks Caren and Mazie for hosting. I really hope Luc feels better so we don't miss our friends this week.

This weekend

Since we actually did something this weekend, I thought I'd dedicate a post to the weekend. We went to the Wii party at our apt Friday night...actually we went long enough to get pizza then came home. Saturday we had a daytime game. Of course we went to Mangia's with the other Auburn Alumni from Austin...WAR EAGLE! This picture is actually from the weekend before.

Saturday night we partied at Jennifer's parents house in south Austin. They were out of town so we all went swimming at their awesome pool. We had lots of fun. Thanks for inviting us Jennifer! Oh, Jennifer, I abided by your wishes and didn't post the best picture ever. I'll email it to you.
Mommies in the hot tub with our babies...except Jennifer whose body temp could withstand the cold pool water. Jennifer did set the hot tub temp so that it was only warm in there. I thought I should make that known since there is a pregnant mom and babies in the hot tub.

Sunday, we got up to get ready to go to Sunday school. It was going to be Luc's first day in class. We all woke up with stuffy noses and Luc was super fussy. We did nothing yesterday.

The weekend is over but I'm going to add today with this post. Today was Jennifer's diaper shower. Luc is still congested but we went anyway. Caden and Kayla are sick too. I really hope little Annie doesn't get it.

New things that are going on with Mr Busybody

Help! I'm in jail! Luc figured out how to look out of his crib when he is waiting for us to come get him.


As everyone knows Luc has been crawling. I'm sorry that I am just now putting this video on here. This was taken a couple of weeks ago. He is now all over the place and in to EVERYTHING. He goes straight for any cords, video game controllers, or anything else that he shouldn't play with.


The newest thing is pulling up. We looked over today to find him standing up playing with the belt for his swing. I'm in for it now.

6 month photos

I decided to take my own 6 month pictures last week. I think I did just as good as going to Sears or JC Penny. The only difference is that I don't have the proper lighting. Here are some of my favorites.
I just think this is cool because I can set my camera to take only the color that I choose.

Kim and Ryan came over to play the other day. I really enjoyed watching the boys interact with each other. It is so funny that they are so young but they actually interact with each other. I think ever time one of them had one toy the other wanted that same toy. It seems so funny to me that Luc is so little but it sometimes seemed like he wasn't sharing. I'm sure it was just that the toy looked like so much more fun when someone was actually playing with it rather than when it was just sitting there. Here are some cute pictures.
