Annual Picture at "Grammy's" house

My friend, Jennifer, invites us to swim and hang out at her mom's house at least once every summer. Her mom is so sweet to let us bombard her pool and house with all of our kids. We always have lots of fun. Our group, which started out pretty small, now looks like a preschool.

Crazy Praisy

Our church has something fun for the kids every Tuesday. I haven't been going because I get sick of chasing Luc around telling him "be nice", "no pushing", "don't take that away"...  I decided to give it another try this week. Luc did great and he had so much fun.

2 months old

This is a late post but Evan is now two months old. He is smiling more and more. His colic seems to be getting better. He only cries for hours about twice a week now rather than every day or two. He loves to watch Luc. If he hears Lucs voice, he will turn his little head until he finds him. He has laughed twice that I know of...both times at Luc.

I can't remember all the percentages. I have it written down but don't have it with me. Here's what I remember.

Stats at 8 weeks old:
13 lb 8 oz
23 in long
I forgot exactly how big his head was but it was only in the 55th percentile.

Luc's stats at 9 weeks:
13 lb 12 oz
24 in long
His head was in the 90th percentile.

Dr Mani was concerned about Evan's eyes. She thought they may be unaligned when she looked with a light. She sent us to a pediatric opthamologist. They said he is really too young to know for sure. He may have strabismus where his eyes look outward (opposite of crossed). They want to see him back in two months. Since we won't be here in two months, she gave me the name of a doctor she knows in London. She said we should see him only if we notice anything unusual about his eyes. Otherwise, we will see her as soon as we get back.

What we've been up to

Playing with friends
Learning to dress and undress
Getting bigger
Watching soccer
Building tents
Cuddling with baby brother (this happened when Brian left them in the room alone)
Playing with Daddy
Swimming

This weeks pictures

Sweet happy baby
Brian and his boys
Five minutes later
Big boy at 7 weeks.
Evan enjoying tummy time...for about 2 minutes. It's funny how different Luc and Evan are. Luc enjoyed being on his belly from a very early age. Evan would rather lay on his back.

Happy Fourth!!!

Me and my grumpy boys
These two love each other

We went to Iguana Grill on the Fourth with the Georges. The kids had so much fun running around playing together.
Luc in time out for pushing sweet little Anderson.
Family

Pamela Brown this is for you

Pamela brought us a meal after we moved. She brought this delicious cookies and cream pie. Well this is what I found in the kitchen one afternoon.

Big Bounce

We took a break from the unpacking, organzing, craziness Thursday to have fun at a bounce house with Dylan and Ashley. Luc and I both had a lot of fun running, sliding, and jumping.

I had a really cute video but it is taking forever to load so I'm not putting it up.

Last of the posts

Warming up after bath
I love these boys!
I've been bathing the boys together. Luc loves it and it saves me a lot of time. (BTW Evan's belly button is black because of being cautorized. It will wash off eventually)
Talking to Daddy

Thank you Sarah

Sarah helped out most of the week this week. She helped us move ALL day Monday. She came and helped out after that too. We appreciate all of your help Sarah.

She also found a great way to calm Evan although swinging a 12 lb baby like this wears your arms out fast.
I don't like this apartment at all but the playground is really nice.

More firsts

I carefully gave Evan his first bath at 5 weeks even though he still had his umbilical cord. I was hoping it would help calm him from one of his screaming fits. He seemed to really like it. He's been in the bathtub every night since.

Smiling at his big brother

Bec and Agee

My aunt, Bec, and cousin, Adrianne, came to visit (and help) while Brian was out of town. Luc had so much fun with them. He got to go swimming almost every day. Adrianne was a big help watching and playing with Luc while Bec either walked with Evan or helped me pack. Thanks for helping y'all!
