Just a really cute picture Brian took yesterday while I was at work.

Today we went to Waterloo for my friend Jennifer's birthday. We all had a lot of fun. What a great idea to have a playground at a restaurant! The kids were able to run around and play while we enjoyed ourselves. My camera is not taking good pictures. I tried to darken the coloring but they still aren't very good at all.

We decided we better head home after Luc fell face first down a couple of concrete stairs. He was pretty tough about and only cried for a few minutes. It actually didn't look so bad right after it happened. After his nap, it was swollen and looked like this. Poor thing!

This afternoon we went to play at another friends house. Kayla was sweet to share her yard and pool with Luc, Caden, and Annie.

Go History!!!

Here are pictures from Brian's intramural softball championship game. Last year, the history team won very few games if any. This year they made it to the championship. Unfortunately, they lost but they did great.

For all of you who missed out....

Kim, Sarah, and I had lots of fun last Thursday night painting pottery for our "Girls Night Out". We pained, talked, and ate and drank. I really had a TON of fun. For those of you who missed, we are planning on going back. Here is our artwork. Oh and I had my camera the whole night but I completely forgot to take pictures of the art in action...and of us girls.

Splash Splash

Yesterday, Jennifer and I took the boys to play in the Bull Creek down the road from our apartments. They had SO much fun! We did too. Next time, I will wear my bathing suit. The water was cold at first but after we got used to it, it felt great. It's only about an inch or two deep so Luc and Caden were able to jump, run, and splash all they wanted. It is really pretty down there too. There is a beautiful waterfall and nice hiking trails. We will definitely be going back this summer.
Look closely at Luc's expression.

Are they having fun or what?

Caden ran and ran in the water

Snack time...this is Luc's second time to have juice...he loved it!

Camping at Inks Lake

This weekend we went camping at Inks State Park. We went fully expecting to drive home to sleep. Luc did great though. I got him ready for bed, sang his bedtime songs, then put him in his bed. He went right to sleep. He did so much better than I expected. I, on the other hand, did not sleep very well. It got so cold at night. We did have a lot of fun walking around the park, playing in the water, and hanging out with friends.

Shea and Sarah watching the boys play

Throwing dirt is so much fun!

The camping chefs did an awesome job

Streaking at a church camping trip

It was SO cold Sunday morning. We were among the first to be up...thanks Luc! It warmed up pretty fast and turned into a beautiful day.

Look at those bright blue eyes peeking out of that hat...Anderson and Caren

Have a drink Ryan!

This is where the boys slept. Not really. They slept in the tent with us.

This is probably my favorite picture.

There was a few playgrounds there too. Here is Maizie going down the slide.

Then Luc had a turn.
